On the 13-4-25 we went to the Adelaide Comic and Toy Fair at St Clair Receation Centre which is near the Woodland Vipers FC. I have played the vipers before, so mum knew where to go. We decided to go to the fair to get out of the house for the day. We drove the car to their carpark, walked to the centre and paid to see the fair. If you are under 10, it is free but adults had to pay.
The place was so big. The first thing I saw was old spider man comics from about the 80s. There was video games, collectible cards, old toys and more. I didn’t know that you could buy stuff there until I saw they had price tags on the stuff.
My mum said I could buy something from the fair, so I looked around first and then deicded on footy cards. I got 4 cards; they were all of Marcus Bontempelli: gold best and fairest, ar footy flix, silver card, and a card craft majestic. I was also allowed to get an astro bot plushie, but I have to share it with my little brother.
There were a long table of lego figures at the back and a ghostbusters vault. There were some people dressed up as characters from the Ghostbusters movie. I wish there were more cosplayers at the fair.
There were lots of things to see at the fair, we stayed for a few hours, then it started to get close to the fair ending,so we stayed just a little more then went home.
I really enjoyed the Adelaide Comic and Toy Fair, I hope they do it again soon.
When we got home I put my cards in my AFL Team Coach binder and had a beef curry for lunch and enjoyed my day. It was the best school holidays ever.
